Kathleen Dentiger

I have spent over 33 years teaching biology, chemistry and
general science in Kenmore NY. I began my art work sketching
flowers and slides in college lab classes. I have moved from
botanic flowers to geometric and more abstract art. There is
usually an element of nature evident in all of my work. The
weather was a large influence on my work. Living in Buffalo
N.Y.and it's prevailing grey skies produced a desire for more
color and bolder abstract designs. I have found the bright
Carolina blue skies and beautiful beaches have brought new life to
my art work. I have been using brighter colors and more freedom
in the artwork.
